Présentation
The very recent success (even with consumer products
involving fuzzy tools) has caused a growing interest in the field of fuzzy sets and fuzzy
control. The author, a specialist in the field for more than 20 years, focusses on
mathematical tools, considering primarily set theoretical and logical aspects, but also
methodological ones.
The unifying background idea is the use of notions and methods of many-valued logic. Thus,
the book provides the essentials of a fruitful discussion of model building processes with
fuzzy sets, especially related to possible applications in fuzzy control. |
